STF Lugnåsberget Ekohotell is situated in beautiful countryside and sits alone on the slopes of the mountain, only a few km from the E20 and Route 26. Here there are lovely natural surroundings, hiking trails, a swimming-friendly forest lake 5 km from the hostel and exciting Qvarnstensgruvan, a museum about millstones, where you can go right inside the mine with a guide.
Included in – Rent the Whole House
The Ekohotell comprises two houses, the Red and the Yellow with a total of 8 rooms and 23 beds, plus room for extra beds. All rooms have private shower and toilet in the room. No other guests are around. Outside there is a large garden with garden furniture and BBQ available. There is also an outdoor kitchen where you can cook food over an open fire, and in an open barn there is space under roof, circa 25 m2 in size. Free access to the wood-fired sauna where wood is included. The camping space with windbreak is in the sheep fold in the locality.
The Houses
In the Red house there are 6 rooms with a total of around 18 beds. All the rooms are on the ground floor. There is also a guest kitchen here with seating for about 10 and a large veranda running around the entire house. There is also an extra toilet which is suitable for people with a handicap and has a changing table.
In the Yellow house there is a little apartment with 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, on the upper floor. There is a smaller guest kitchen for the two rooms as well as a small communal dining area. A covered outdoor stair leads to the upper floor. On the lower floor there is a guest kitchen as well as a common room with seating for circa 24 people at the tables. Outside there is a covered veranda accommodating circa 24 people.
All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower and wc.

Payment and booking conditions
On booking an invoice for 25% of the rental is sent. The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The 75% balance of the rental cost is paid against the invoice no later than one week before arrival.
Rent Bygdegården – for larger gatherings
Lugnås community centre lies circa 150 meters from the hostel and seats circa 50 people. Here there is a smaller stage and a kitchen equipped for circa 50 guests. The price is about SEK 500 per day. Contact Annelie Blom +46(0)501-405 20, +46(0)709-62 15 83 for booking and further information.
